Trevor Lewis has not lost a step over the last year, when it comes to making kids laugh he is right up there at the top….
The Wistful Wand is one of the funniest wands ever!
Get a kid up from the audience to help you. Explain that his job is to wave the magic wand, which of course will make the magic happen. Reach into your case and bring out a normal-looking magic wand. Black and white tips. As you hand the kid the wand, the white part drops to the floor with a chunk, leaving the kid holding just the black part. The white part is a long plastic rod that fits inside the black outer tube. Pick up the white rod and put it back in the tube. And the fun begins! First the white part drops to the floor. Then you can’t get it back in. then your finger gets stuck in the tube.. Then the white part pops out of the top of the black part. Finally, the black vanishes completely, leaving you holding only the white rod. You look all over the place for the black part. Finally, after tons of byplay and loads of shouting, you discover it hanging out on the kid’s back!! In the end, you put the wand back together, hand it to the kid and let them wave it to his heart’s content. Of course, with the wand back together, the magic happens as expected!
It is these kind of interactions with the kids that make a performance memorable!
Complete with specially made wand. Matching regular wand and Trevor’s full routine
