At the bottom of the instructions Mel wrote that he was making only 10pcs for a select group of collectors. I do not know if that included the models, he painted in different designs, but this is definitely the first one in all natural with inlays that I have seen. It is a very uncommon piece.
A die placed into a hat is then removed and put in a small box. It vanishes and after the normal die box byplay both doors are opened, and the die has vanished and returned back to the hat.
This is a great looking die box and not your normal principle used with the regular die box. Scarce! The box is 6.5×5.5×4 inches.
