It is a large stage prop. The balls are a little under 3.5″ The Traffic Light tower fully assembled on the stand is approx. 20″ tall (!)
In function it is very similar to a Stratosphere but minus the Gung-Ho Box to vanish the ball.
The magicians with the help of the kids in the audience tries to assemble the lights of a traffic light in the correct order but fails several times. It is determined that the red ball is causing all the trouble, so it is wrapped in tissue and given a spectator to hold. A magic word and the red ball is finally at the right place at the bottom of the traffic light and when the spectator unwraps what he is holding it is an Apple or orange.
