Magicians are always looking for a good silk routine. This answers their problem in many ways. As this particular routine is very novel and waves through in a smooth running manner requiring the minimum of skill. All details are explained thoroughly so you can’t go wrong. Good combinations like this are scarce. This may be used in a silent act or you can patter it for kids. It’s visible magic and the effects happen so quickly your spectators won’t believe their eyes.
Three silks, two of the same color and the third a different color, are tied together in a chain, end to end diagonally. Let’s say two are blue and one is yellow. The yellow silk is toed to an end. For kid shows you can state you’ll cause the yellow silk to unite itself and jump over to the other end and tie itself onto that end. Place silks behind your back and bring them out turned the opposite way. After a bit of fun with this you hold the silks in a triangle. A transposition takes place. You are holding a corner of each blue silk in each hand, their knot hanging down in the center and the corner of the yellow silk is tied to this knot also, as in a “ Y” position. One more flourish with the silks and they are once again tied together in a chain but this time the yellow silk is in the middle!
This is a great bit for a silent act. Dove workers will love it as the finish they can steal a dove and produce it from the bunched up silks. It is puzzling yet beautiful to see. Comes complete with gimmicked 18 inch silks and instructions.
