George Blake’s East Coast Magic released some fine props over the years.
This Salt Pour Gimmick is no exception. Very well made!
The magician takes the cap off of a saltshaker and pretends to pour salt into his hand. He recaps the saltshaker and then proceeds to fill a plate with an impossible pile of salt that pours out from his hand.
The salt pour is generally performed on stage. After reading through this effect, you will possess the ability to do this in close-up, walk-around situations such as corporate events, banquets and table-to-table.
It is all motivated and justified, with every action being relevant. You can open with the effect, close with it or perform it in the middle of your act. This is a very well-thought-out routine. It is written for the right-handed person; lefties must simply reverse the actions.
Precision machined gimmick supplied, actually two, one for use in the Close-Up environment and a lager one if the audience is a little farther away! Provide your own saltshaker and salt!
“The Long Salt Pour has always been a great effect. This one, the gimmick can be used close-up at a table, or in a Night Club or stage setting. Considering, the size of the gimmick, which is machined and light weight, it holds a huge amount of salt. This is great, and again because of its size you can easily carry it around in your pocket. Don’t leave home without it.” ~Rocco
