You can now execute one of the most renowned rope tricks in history.
Present three pieces of rope, each differing in length. One is long, the second is of medium length, and the third is a shorter segment.
By bringing the ropes together, you give them a quick tug. As if they were made of elastic, the ropes astonishingly stretch and contract. They now appear to be of equal length!
The ropes are counted, and each one is confirmed to be the same length as the others. Then, just as mysteriously, they return to their original forms – three ropes of different lengths!
Everything can now be inspected.
An online tutorial by Doug Conn simplifies the learning of this classic routine. It can be performed using a borrowed rope or a piece of ribbon that has been cut into three segments.
We supply you a great set of quality practice ropes.
This trick is also referred to as Professor’s Nightmare or Unequal Ropes.
