The Hanger – David Harkey

David Harkey is an accomplished professional magician and his books “Simply Harkey” and “Ah-ha!” are bestsellers.

David released “The Hanger” in 1996 and we are lucky to have found some in our warehouse neatly stored away in a miss-labelled box.

Through it’s innocent appearance it allows you to perform several strong effects with your un-gimmicked clothing or even a spectators wardrobe all without sleight of hand or body hook-ups.

The instructions describe he use of “The Hanger” for the following effects:

“Knot To Be”
Two silks are draped individually over an clothes hanger, they are tucked into a spectators pocket, when they are pulled out they are tied together.

“Columbian Necktie”
Cut your favorite necktie from the hanger and then restore it without any loose threads.

“The Professor and Mary Ann”
A woman pulls three shoelaces of different lengths and colors from the hanger only to see them equal in length in her hands”

“Fashion Sense”
A $20 bill clearly marked as your is produced from a spectators coat which you claims is actually a coat your grand
mother gave you.

“Pitter Patter”
The story goes about how one sock always seem to disappear in the laundry. You conclude by producing the sock from a borrowed jacket.
