A spectator is invited to mix the four drills and four batteries as they wish and then assemble them randomly, ensuring the performer has no knowledge of which battery went into which drill.
The performer, relying on skill or mind control, eliminates three of the dangerous drills. The final drill is selected and placed directly to the performer’s head. When the trigger is pulled… the drill remains silent, and the magician is safe! The other drills are shown to be in working / dangerous order.
