Genius magician Lubor Fiedler has created an incredible piece of magic and Tenyo has done a fine job manufacturing the idea.
A rather realistic looking rock, a small plastic tray, and a translucent plastic “collar”. The rock is placed flat on the center of the tray and the collar is placed around the rock. With a bit of concentration, the rock slowly starts to move, and eventually levitates about half an inch from the tabletop. The rock stops in mid-air. The proof here is the killer: the magician uses his fingertips to slide the tray that is beneath the rock from side to side, and the rock does not move. This effect introduces a brand new principle to prove that an object is floating in mid-air with no visible means of support. In addition to the rock, you can float a transparent doll, a lighter, or a coin. There are no threads or magnets used–you’ll love this!
