A borrowed coin is dropped inside of a tube. The magician places a lid onto the tube and makes a magic gesture. The coin magically changes into a stream of water! This water is poured into another tube. The coin reappears from this second tube, and all of the water vanishes without a trace. This trick requires no practice. It evolved from the age-old ‘Pea Can,’ which is endeared by so many magicians. With this prop, you can mysteriously transform a borrowed object into water or powder, and make the borrowed item reappear inside of another tube. The clever gimmick allows you to perform a wide variety of tricks, such as transforming sugar or salt into coins, and magically changing a spectator’s ring into water.
