Jay Leslie manufactured these in the “Joe Berg Style”. A great example of a trick that plays big but packs small. This is well made in a classic “Birds Eye” wooden look.
Think of it as a Die Box but performed with Jumbo Cards.
A possible performance could look like this…. A spectator is allowed to select a card from a deck of Jumbo Cards. The card is inserted into a frame that has two doors. The card can be seen inside the frame. The other compartment is empty. Both doors are closed and the magicians says that he will now make the card disappear. Painly, obvious he tilts the frame towards the empty side and then opens the front door of the compartment that originally held the card. This is repeated back and forth until the audience gets antsy and the magician has no choice but open both doors at the same time, the card has completely vanished and can now be reproduced from another location.
You are not limited to Playing Cards. A photo or drawing could be used (if they are cut to Jumbo Card size). The prop has multiple applications.
This is a light hearted sucker routine that has stood the test of time. Great for your magic performance and MC duties.
You receive the frame together with two sample cards (that detail how any jumbo card (or picture) can be gimmicked to be used with the frame) together with detailed instructions. You will need to provide a regular deck of Bicycle Jumbo Cards to perform the routine as outlined above.
