These were $ 1000 in Dec. 2007 on Peter’s Website. Given the high price point I am pretty sure that there were not to many made. It’s a very substantial prop. Heavy duty in good condition with a few minor dings and scratches. It would benefit from polishing it.. No instructions but easy to figure out.
Initially this was designed to load a 6 ft silk (not supplied). The load mechanism is spring loaded!
From the P&A website at the time: “This piece of apparatus is the ultimate in crystal silk cylinders. It as a top load mechanism that has never been seen before in magic. Just put the top on and the tube loads itself. The tube is constructed out of high strength aluminum buffed to a chrome like finish.”
This is a rather big prop: The base has a diameter of approx. 11″, the whole apparatus is over 23″ tall!
This is a hard piece to find for any collector!
