Show a silk and a small Cordial glass fitted with water. Pour the water from the glass into your closed left fist. Pull the silk through your left fist. It comes out dry. Slowly open your left fingers, palm toward the audience. The liquid has vanished. Extend both arms showing the palms of both hands to be devoid of any water. Now, hold the glass by its rim between your left thumb and forefinger. The glass fills up with the missing liquid. However, the liquid is now the same color as the silk.
