Silver Sceptre (Rising Rod) – George Blake

A best seller! George Blake’s Silver Sceptre has been acclaimed as possibly the greatest children’s effect EVER! It is always ready to perform, takes up little room in your bag and it is packed full of action and excitement.

Can be performed anywhere, close-up, surrounded or stage. In fact in just about EVERY performing situation! The Silver Sceptre is a metal rod approx. a half-inch in diameter and about 15 inches long. The rod is kept inside a bag.

There are four exciting phases in the routine:
1.The rod magically rises from a handkerchief or head square (not supplied).
2.It magically rises from the plastic bag (supplied).
3.There are magical horizontal movements from left to right or right to left.
4.Finally, the bag magically springs off the Silver Sceptre and high into the air!

Silver Sceptre is ideal for both children and adults’ shows. All ages will be completely baffled by its antics but it is especially effective with children. They love telling you that it is rising out of the handkerchief and later the bag, but you never seem to be able to catch it – it seems to have a will of its own.
