Imagine your assistant standing against a solid post, as 10 solid rings are placed over her and bolted to the post. Totally encapsulating her within. Next a round curtain is lifted up hiding her from the view of the audience. Then the curtain is moved to the side and due to a split in the curtain the audience watches in amazement as they can see the rings still bolted to the post. However, the assistant is not trapped within. The curtain is then lowered to the floor and there stands your assistant. For an even greater surprise she can be in a different costume.
