Ribbon of Steel by Mike Shelley

A piece of ribbon, a playing card, and a pair of scissors are all examined. The spectator folds the playing card in half from top to bottom. The magician takes the scissors and trims a piece off of the card, showing the scissors really cut. The folded card is now placed over the ribbon and the magician cuts right through the card without hurting the ribbon.

There are no sleight of hand moves, and nothing to add or take away. You are perfectly clean from start to finish. This trick is totally self working.
