Jay Keslie has manufactured this great Close-Up trick….
A small hollow block of wood is examined and a normal pen placed through the hole in the center. A regular quarter penetrates through the pen. The effect is repeated again showing empty hands at all times.
Immediately after the second penetration the block, pen and quarter are handed for examination .
Similar to the classic Penny Through Match, made in the 50s but with a hand-made exotic woods. The top and bottom are different species and the center rib is made from black Ebony, the same wood as used on expensive piano keys.
Easy to do. Each block has been hand sanded to shape.
* Each Quarter through pen is lacquered with a hand-rubbed finish. No set up required. No moving parts. All you need is, a little change, a regular pen and the block.
Detailed directions included.
Style may vary a little from the one pictured because wood is a natural product
