You show the spectator your new toy, really it’s a special set of bicycle playing cards, but you call it your PDA. They’re expecting a little computer that keeps up with your calendar and errands. Instead, you reveal a bunch of blank cards.

You explain how this PDA has a “Memory Uplink Module.” You don’t have to type or write anything, just think about a task, like picking up your dry cleaning, and it automatically inputs it from your brain into your Personal Deck Assistant. Of course, they don’t believe you; you’re a magician and lie for a living! So you prove it! Someone just thinks of an item from any grocery store. Visually, writing appears on one of the blank note cards. It’s the item they were thinking!
