Million Dollar Milli-Miracle – Michael Sibbersen

Larry Becker had an original effect called Millimiracle which can be found in Larry Becker’s “World of Super Mentalism”. Michael Sibbersen has expanded on this effect with permission.

The effect uses a 35mm film spool which can be used to teach the younger audience members how photos were taken before the digital age. It can then be said that you are surprised that they were taken out of circulation, since they had quite magical powers…..

The effect as introduced by Michael:

as an avid fan of science and technology, the performer decides to demonstrate a new type of film with amazing properties. A 35mm film cartridge is dumped out of it’s canister, and a piece piece ” of film” is removed. When unfolded it has about the size of a dollar bill. “Not so” the magician explains, it’s actually is a special film which when developed can reveal human thoughts. The piece of paper is folded and placed inside the empty film canister and given to a spectator to hold. He is asked to close his eyes and imagine his greatest wish. Upon opening the canister, the spectator finds a fully developed million dollar bill.
