A nice collectible estate item from the heydays of Zauber Klingl, Austria. A Vienna manufacturer of fine magic. Only one available!
Small sized umbrella trick, for parlor performances,
Magicians presents a small umbrella and rolls it into a mat with the handle being visible. He then proceeds to stuff small silks into his hand, where they disappear or change into a ball. When the umbrella is pulled from the mat, the small silks are hanging from the umbrella and the magician can make the umbrella cover appear from a desired location.
Note: The original instructions have you change the small individual silks into a billiard ball and then later produce the free umbrella cover from a breast pocket. I find it much more convincing to have the small things change into the umbrella cover. For my version you will need a large thumb tip (not supplied). I will describe this in my English instructions which go further than the copy of the German instructions from Klingl that is included.
Very nice condition set that comes with all you need including a second (spare) mat.
