A box with wooden clothes pins is introduced and 20 are spilled on the table.
a spectator names a number between one and 10 and the pins are returned to the box. Now a piece of rope (clothes line) is draped over the box, the next time it is lifted several clothes pins are attached to it. The number of pins matches what was selected by the audience.
Easy to do and no force of the number between 1 and 10.
