Master Billet Box

Picture this….. A random member of the audience is handed 10 little pieces of paper together with a pencil and a shoebox sized box with a slot in the top. The helper is asked to pick any audience member hand him one of the pieces of paper and the pencil and ask him to secretly write a word on the paper (let’s say the place where he would like his favorite vacation), then fold it small and push it through the slot in the top of the box. The helping audience member then randomly repeats this with nine other members of the audience chosen at random. After 10 different papers have been inserted into the box the helping spectator is then to bring the box to the performer. The lid is removed and the audience member selects one of the folded pieces of paper. He unfolds the paper and reads the word aloud. Next he is directed to an envelope that has been in plain view on stage on a side table (or hanging from the ceiling, or that has been mailed to a celebrity in attendance well in advance of the Show). He is instructed to get the envelope, open it and read the word inside. Of course it matches the selected word. Yes, it can exactly play out as described and the ‘Master Billet Box” makes this all completely automatic.
