The originals were sold only in Germany decades ago by Eckhardt Boettcher and are nearly impossible to find.

Here is the effect:
A sucker style routine in which red and blue silks placed into small clear cups on a stand “magically” jump back and forth when covered with a large cloth (or a card is placed in front blocking them from view).
The audience will be unimpressed – as they’ll assume you’re simply switching the cups on the tray.
For the surprise ending, each of the cups is covered by a larger clear glass.
One of the glasses is decorated with red stripes to match the red silk inside – and the other with blue stripes – to match the blue silk.
Despite these test conditions – the silks still transpose!
It’s a puzzling effect that has fooled some very well versed magicians/collectors.
The Improvements:
The original stand was very simple, black wood with red trim. This Deluxe Ltd Edition features a beautiful stand/tray
in walnut with brass center post.
The stand is fitted with recesses and felt padding to keep all glasses secure.
This edition uses real shot glasses to replace the very cheap looking plastic tumblers supplied with the original.
