Magic Book Prediction

This clever deck of cards lets you perform a clever prediction effect.

The magician places a book and a sealed envelope on the table. A volunteer from the audience selects two cards from a deck. Lets say the combined value of the cards will add up to 14. The volunteer now goes to page 14 of the book, line 14 and the 14th word in this line which he then read aloud. The volunteer then opens the envelope and takes a piece of paper out of it. The magicians has written the selected word on the paper before the show.

The supplier initially supplied a un-gimmicked book with this trick. To keep shipping and production cost low the book is no longer supplied. We recommend using a 36-48 page booklet with small size print so that there are 14 words or more on a line.
