When you place this lie detector on the spectator’s head laughs are guaranteed just because it looks so funny. Basically, a colander with a funnel and a light bulb on the top is what the audience sees.
You claim that this simple looking prop is actually a high-tech tester that is able to determine if somebody is telling the truth? I am sure you can envision the fun you can have with this.
A very basic routine could be that you have a spectator select a postcard from a stack of cards and then return it to the stack. Then wearing the “lie detector” you will show him the postcards one at a time but with everyone he has to say that “It is not his postcard”. When he arrives at the selected postcard the red bulb on top of the lie detector will light up.
The light is entirely under your control at all times.
Think about all the mayhem you could generate with the lie detector!
