Here is a rope trick to set ‘em all talking – just about the craziest imaginable. Two linked rope rings, one red – the other yellow are displayed. “How can the links be separated, without untying one of the ropes?” That’s the puzzle! The simple answer is – a pair of scissors is used to cut one of the ropes, thereby separating them. Not much of a trick? Read on. The cut rope is momentarily placed aside. When the remaining rope is untied, it not one long length as expected, but two half size pieces, and the previously cut rope which has been in full view all the time, is one long length, and tugged vigorously – proving no joins. It’s just about the zaniest, wackiest rope trick ever – taking just seconds to set – apart from wear and tear, no replacement needed.
