Houdini’s Nephew – Ton Onosaka

Everyone has heard of the great escape artist Harry Houdini, but few know of his nephew, Jack Houdini.

The Magician offers to demonstrate Jacks amazing escapological abilities. Several cards are removed from a wallet, a card representing Houdinis nephew (which looks a lot like a Jack of Spades) plus four cards that have prison walls printed on their faces.

Jack Houdini is placed in the middle of the prison walls – he is effectivly locked inside a prison cell. Nevertheless, when the cards are dealt on to the table, Jack is gone…..or has he? The audience thinks that they have caught the magician out, as there is a card awkwardly concealed in his hand. However , this turns out to be only the cut out frame of the Jack of Spades! The missing picture of Jack is found back inside the wallet!
