Wow, I have never this item before and I am glad that it came up in an recent estate from a German magician. I thought long and hard to keep it for myself ….
Thomas Pohle was inspired by David Copperfield’s large scale illusion when he put this item on the market. Of course this is intended for the performance in a much smaller setting.
The magician presents a miniature section of the great wall to demonstrate a similar effect. The wall can be examinedand is placed on the table. Next on front and back a small holder is installed, the audience looks thru those to see the solid wall. First a small ribbon (not supplied) can penetrate. The holders returned and a tablet with the image of the magician penetrates the wall. At the end the wall is once again available for inspection.
With the precision apparatus the lucky buyer receives the German instructions by Thomas Pohle’s Zauberschmiede and for his own use a short write-up of its workings in English.
This is definitely a very rare Thomas Pohle piece in excellent condition and while you will probably never see the internal locking mechanism you will appreciate its smooth operation.
