“A gibeciere is a large pouch-like device used by magicians as a utility device, most often to aid in the performance of the famous magic trick known as “The Cups and Balls“. In modern times, it is often used by street magicians due to its ability to hold large items (frequently referred to as “loads” within performing circles) such as fruits, various balls and sometimes stuffed or even real animals. It is commonly held around the performer’s waist by a belt, in plain sight, and the pouch commonly rests along the front of the body, just below the waistline.” from WIKIPEDIA
If you have seen Gazzo or other street performers you most likely have seen them wearing a leather Gibeciere. Our custom made version is much more than just a pouch to hold props. It is made from top-grade cowhide. Very Soft, like the leather used for good gloves!
It has inside pockets for just about everything: a deck of cards: A thumb tip: A pen or marker.
There is a special cut out in the divider of the back part of the pouch so a wand or other longer object can be placed inside.
If you perform Cups & Balls, there are two large pockets in the front to hold your load balls. There is a large pocket in the back to hold balloons or rope.
A slit in the back of the pouch that allows you to access your trousers pocket has been added while it appears you are reaching in the pouch.
The belt that hold it in place is long enough even for larger performers (some might have to cut off access belt length when using it the first time.)
These were specially made overseas and are of very good quality. Limited Supply!
