This beauty was manufactured for Zauberzentrale Munich around 1979 when Rudolf Braunmueller and Guenther Puchinger owned it. Eckhart Boettcher helped with the German instructions. This is an early version but already has the Electronics as part of the secret. Manufactured by non other than famed builder Tony Lackner based on an initial idea by Herbert Paufler the king of storytelling magic in Germany at the time.
This is a multi phase routine.
On the table a stand with three different colored mummies can be seen. In the beginning the magician secures the help of a spectator with the trick. The magician turns his back and asks his helper to place one of the mummies in the inside pocket of his jacket, then take another one and place it in his right pants pocket and finally take the third and hold it our of view behind his back. The magician then turn around and names the color of each mummy in each position.
While the magician back is turned the spectator is asked to place one of the mummies in the Sarcophagus and the other two on the stand, one left and the other right and then cover them with the little wooden covers. Magician turns around and immediately shows that he made a prediction of the outcome (using the little tablets on the top of the backdrop).
I have tested this to be in excellent working order, ready to be performed (you will need a 9V battery). The original German instructions are included and I have made an English translation for the lucky buyer.
The previous owner painted the mummies in a solid color so that the color differences are more visible from even a little bit of a larger distance, all other components are as issued.
Needless to say that this is a collectible that is not often seen for sale, especially in this early version.
