The magician displays two identical walnut dolls. One remains in the performer’s hand, while the other is sealed inside a cloth bag and placed aside, untouched throughout the performance.
As a pin is slowly inserted into specific parts of the doll in hand, the second doll instantly reveals the same pin appearing in the exact corresponding position. The effect suggests an invisible empathic connection between the two figures.
