A “swinging” Approach to the rising cards! There are literally hundreds of card rise effects offered today and if done properly it is one of the strongest effects in magic. This version is based on “Rising Cards from Envelope” by Bill Severn and Pete Biro from Tarbell Course Volume 7 (Harry Lorayne). A freely chosen card is returned to the deck, which is then placed in its case. A tiny magic wand is inserted through the sides of the card case. Holding the deck up by the wand on both sides, the magician swings it back and forth….suddenly the chosen card rises from the pack. You receive a generic card case which can be used in performance or as a sample of how to gimmick a Bicycle card case, the miniature wand and a gimmicked Bicycle card with illustrated instructions.
