Dissolvo & A Prediction Within – Lane Howard

Dissolvo might be one of the more often copied close up miracles. We found a couple of the original units made by Lane Howard Productions in quality heavy brass. What adds to the value immensely that Lane provided very detailed instructions that also highlight an interesting prediction effect using the props of Dissolvo.

“Dissolvo” is a multi phase routine where a nut appears and disappears from a bolt which is secured inside a brass tube.

“A Prediction Within” is a strong but easy to do prediction effect.
A prediction, made by you is placed in a brasscontainer at the beginning of the trick. The container is tightly bound with a rubber band for security and handed to a spectator for safe keeping. Performer selects a spectator and handing same a pad and a pen. He than has the spectator select 3 or 4 additional people at Will & has each call out loud a number of their choice between 0 & 100. Both you & your assistant record these numbers & upon totaling post the results for all to see. Performer opens the container & empties the contents into the spectator’s hands & has the spectator read the prediction slip out loud, revealing the matching total to all!!
