A professional version of this Harry Anderson comedy classic is available! Being a longtime fan of Harry Anderson, one of his funniest routines is Cuff Links. It combines audience participation with comedy that no one has ever created previously. After seeing various marketed versions, we felt a higher quality outfit for the working professional magician was in order! Cuff Links is actually two of Harry Anderson’s comedy routines woven into one great piece of entertainment! He has performed it everywhere, including television’s Saturday Night Live, HBO, and other network appearances. It remains one of his standout and memorable routines. Briefly, two five dollar bills are borrowed, torn, burned, and miraculously “restored” in true Harry Anderson fashion, but not before they are torn again and turned into a 10 dollar bill. This is then torn in half and given to the audience members. A great gag in itself, but there’s much more; the pieces are then placed in a wallet (which was previously opened full of flames) and given to a volunteer on stage to hold. She is instructed to not let go of the wallet no matter what happens. Now, Harry snaps a set of genuine Smith and Wesson Handcuffs onto his own wrists and hilarity ensues as his his arms and the lady’s arms are linked together! They try and unlink. She puts her head through his arms. He slides all the way to the floor. He puts one foot between his arms and all of a sudden, his hands are cuffed between his legs. He steps through with his other foot and finally they are unlinked! The lady is asked to open the wallet. Inside, she finds two five dollar bills! Harry brings one of his hands around to the front. There is one manacled hand dangling from his other wrist! Returning the bills to the spectators, he thanks the lady and sends her back to her seat and bows to tremendous applause!
