This trick was the grand prize winner of Magic magazine’s Living Paper contest. Read all about Chromagrams in the October 1995 issue. A spectator chooses a card. you then hand out three greeting cards to different spectators that have an autostereogram picture mounted to the front. Autostereograms are those 3 D pictures you may have seen in the malls. On spectator has difficulty seeing the 3D image. You help him, you claim, by exerting your own tremendous imagination. Suddenly his card appears right there – in living color- and then, right before your very eyes, it slowly fades away! This effect is not very well suited for hot temperature performance venues, woks better in colder spaces.
