What a stunning piece of scenic close-up magic, manufactured by German craftsman Thomas Pohle and released thru Eckhard Boettcher. They were not manufactured in large numbers and most them are tucked away in European collection, I am excited to be able to offer you this piece today. This is the 2018 issue!
The amount of work and design that has gone into this is staggering and it would be hard to find a master woodworker these days to manufacture the China Tower.
The China Tower is introduced, basically it is a flat tube with three colorful sliding door in the front. All three doors are opened and a large Chinese “coin” is removed from a drawer. The coin is allowed to drop thru the tube. The three doors are closed and two solid blades are inserted into the tube, separating it in three sections. Again the Chinese coin is inserted at the top. The top door is opened and the coin can be seen resting on the first blade. Now the door is closed and the coin penetrates the blades one by one and at the end disappears entirely, it is then found to have returned to the drawer.
Supplied with English instructions
The piece is overall in excellent condition. The coin has a diameter of approx. 2.375″, the tower is approx. 11″ high
