This is nice rare piece from Douglas Wayne Illusioneering hallmarked “DW”. I had honestly never seen one and had to have a friend guide me in the right direction. I still can not tell you much about it other than that I believe it allows one card to be exchanged for another. I have figured out that turning the brass knop a 1/4″ inch it moves a pin inside that locks and unlocks a playing card. There is a hidden small hole in one of the designs that I have not been able to figure out what it is for. As far as the condition goes it does have a small crack towards one corner that can be seen in the last picture. It does not cause problems in the function. There are no instructions and if there was anything supplied with the box it is not included (I am not saying there was). Douglas Wayne pieces rarely show up but I priced this moderately for the flaw and the fact that I can not tel you much about it.
