Cereal Killer Cereal Killer is the perfect school show or library show routine. It is not only entertaining, but educational. Cereal Killer is perfect for any age group, from tiny tots to full grown adults. It is based on Billy McComb’s McCombical Prediction, with a tip of the hat to Don Wayne’s Top Ten. The Effect: Bring out a stack of cereal box covers. Explaining that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, show all the different boxes. There’s Sugar Puffs, Honey Snaps, Sugar Chex, Apple Smacks, Choco Crisps, Fruit Hoops and Bran Crunch. With the exception of Bran Crunch, all of the cereals are really high in sugar and really not so good for the kiddies. Bran Crunch is by far the healthiest of the bunch! Ask for a volunteer from the audience and have him stand next to you, facing away from the audience. Show all of the different covers again and show the audience your “prediction cover.” Of course, it is the healthy cereal, Bran Crunch. Stand the cover with its back toward the audience, so they can see it all the time. Now, pick up a second stack of cereal box covers. As you show these to the audience, but not to the on-stage spectator, explain that in just a moment, the spectator will have a “free choice” of any cereal boxes. The choice is not exactly “free” selects one of the covers. Ask him to turn it around and show the audience that you have a stack of Bran Crunch covers! If the magic works, your prediction will exactly match the spectator’s “free choice.” The audience, in on the gag, knows that there is no way you can miss! The spectator “freely” selects one of the covers. Ask him to turn it around and show the audience which one he selected. He shows them a completely different cover! It’s Loosener’s Castor Oil Flakes! But wait, how can it be? All the covers are Bran Crunch! Holy Moley! Time for a little magic. Turn your prediction card around and it has changed into Loosener’s Castoe Oil Flakes as well. Bow to a tremendous round of applause! Cereal Killer comes with everything you need: Specially made full-color printed cereal box covers, gimmicks and full instructions and routine. A first class item waiting to be added to your show!
