Candle Thru Silks

Two nested tubes are introduced that have holes in their side thru which two silks are threaded. The silks fill up almost the entire interior. A spectator can pull out the silks and take a close look at everything. The tubes are then nested again, and the silks pulled thru the holes.

Next a candle is lit and slowly pushed thru the tubes from bottom to top. It is moved up and down several times and the audience fears for the delicate silks. The candle is removed and extinguished and once again can the spectator remove the silks and examine everything. The silks are unharmed!

We supply the tubes and silks which can be examined. You provide a regular dinner candle.
