A Modern Version Of A Classic!
This is a beautiful version of a classic that is made of plastic but has been vacuum metalized to look like gold colored chrome. It is also a little smaller than most card frames which makes it lighter and easier to carry and becomes an ideal routine to do with borrowed business cards.
The basic routine starts out with a spectator examining the frame with the clear sheet of plastic inside and a wooden spike. You borrow two business cards and you insert them into the frame covering the center of the clear sheet of plastic. You then push the wooden spike through the two business cards… penetrating the clear plastic between them. At the conclusion you remove the spike and business cards to show that the clear sheet of plastic is in perfect shape. Everything is once again examinable.
The tutorial includes a bonus routine where a spectator is handed a glass or bottle. The frame is put on top of the glass and a pencil is pushed through the glass, so it becomes encased in the glass or bottle. Everything is once again examinable.
The original Penetrable Glass was marketed and patented by Ludwig Krug in 1938, It was his close-up variation of Edward Massey’s Glass Through Glass. It has since become a classic that is most often referred to as a Penetration Frame… but it is still a great trick.
