A quick and effective Jumbo Card routine that works well as an opener or for an MC.
Before you start the show, you would like to test the attention span of this particular audience. For this purpose, you introduce three Jumbo cards, two have one dot and one of them has three dots on them. You tell the audience that the card with the three dots is the test card and that they should follow it closely.
Slowly the test card is turned with the back to the audience. It would not be much a test this way, so a second card is also turned with the back towards the audience. Slowly the cards are shuffled in full view and a spectator is asked to name the test card. He picks one and it has one dot. Obviously, this may have been a little too difficult this late in the day so one card with one dot is removed and placed in a suit pocket (or an envelope if you prefer).
Now with two cards remaining the spectator has a 50:50 change to locate the test card, yet he fails again. This can be repeated several times. Eventually the magician reveals that the test card is the one in his pocket.
Easy to Do!
You receive the specially printed Jumbo Cards (approx. 7 1/8″ x 4 5/8″) and English instructions.
