Austrian magician Robert Kaldy-Karo has a strong background in theatre which is why he tends to focus his Close-Up magic performances towards storytelling magic. For years he has performed his self created table-side miracles to great success. He then decided to make some of his creations available to fellow magicians. All are hand built and unique. He often took regular tricks and dressed them up in such a way that they become elegant magic props. Due to their looks they offer plenty of opportunities for a storyteller to dress up the effect. While he might have multiples utilizing the same starting prop each one is unique due to its decorations. You are truly acquiring a one of a kind with each of his pieces.
“Mindreader in Magicland” is based on an older mentalism principle but dressed up in a way that is novel and entertaining.
The magician introduces a symbol card in an elaborately decorated frame. A spectator is asked to remember one of the symbols, the frame is then returned on its stand. From the stand that hold four cards with different symbols you remove one of the cards and ask the spectator to simply state “yes or no” if he sees his selected symbol. This is repeated with the other three cards. At the end the performer is able to name the selected symbol.
A variation can be performed bind-folded with the spectator mixing the four cards on the stand.
The instructions also describe some add on variations.
Please note the original German instructions are supplied. You have the option during checkout to add an English translation for your own use for a fee (varies per item). These translations are time consuming and in the past I have factored the price into the sales price of an item. This seems unfair to customers who are familiar with an item and do not need those translations. The translations must be added when purchasing the piece as I will still need the trick in my hand to follow along as I translate. Please allow up to one week additional delivery time when the translation option is added.
