Twelve spot cards are removed from the deck. They are displayed and then laid out in four face down piles of three card each. An envelope is now introduced, and a packet of cards is removed from the inside. This packet is shown to consist of four jokers. The jokers are displayed one at a time and one is placed into each tabled pile. Instantly, three of the piles are shown ton consist of four red spot cards. the fourth pile is turned over to display that the four jokers have assembled.
