I remember when this came to the market around 1987, it was released by Viennamagic and I carried it with my first company for the German market. Almost every demo resulted in a sale as this is so visible!
On a tray rests a banknote under a wine glass. A Napkin is handed for examination and then crumbled into a ball which is tossed into the glass. A spectator writes down the serial number of the banknote. The performer takes a blank pistol and points it to the banknote and fires. The banknote disappears. The spectator is invited to check the napkin and finds the banknote inside.
All can now be examined.
This is a highly visible item and the secret is just what you would expect from Lubor Fiedler
Note: This trick relies on a blank pistol to work, since these are loud I do not recommend performing this in small enclosed areas but in larger spaces. Some toy pistols that use caps might also work but the trick was initially designed to use a blank pistol. We recommend for the performer to advise the audience to cover their ears before firing indoors.
We supply the special tray and a gimmick with instructions in German with a brief translation in English. You provide the wine glass, blank pistol with ammunition and the napkin.
