The magician then draws a small circle on the back of their selection close to one end of the card. He pockets the pen and removes a hole puncher, which he uses to punch a hole in the end of the card opposite the drawn circle. Holding the card by its ends, the magician shakes his hand up and down once. Visually, the hole punched through the card jumps and is now inside the drawn circle! The spectator’s signed selection may then handed out for complete examination. The most visual and easy-to-do jumping hole effect you’ll find.
