Cupid’s Arrow – Ted Amberg & Mark Mayhew

The magician asks a couple to tell him how they met each other. As they are telling their story, the magician has the women select a card out of a deck and sign the face. She places it back in the deck and the cards are shuffled. As the story continues, the man selects a card out of the deck, signs its back, and returns it to the deck. The magician then explains to the couple that when they met, they were not alone; Cupid was there as well. The magician hands a “miniature arrow” to the women and instructs her to slide it into the deck. When the miniature arrow is removed, the couple discovers that it has pierced a card. The magician explains that this represents the shooting of Cupid’s arrow and reveals that the attached card is the one signed by the! Cupid didn’t just shoot an arrow through one of their hearts.. .He got them both! Instructions and well made wooden arrow supplied, provide a regular deck of cards and a Marker.
