Effect:
Your spectator mix a regular deck of cards.
Meanwhile, show an envelope placed on the table, clearly visible to everyone. This is your prediction envelope!
Spread the deck on the table…
Take of 10€ banknote, for example.
Unfold it and run it along the card ribbon, inviting your spectator to say STOP whenever they want-no forcing.
The spectator can really take all the time they need!
At the spectator’s STOP, simply slide the ticket into the card strip.
Explain that if your prediction is wrong, the spectator wins the €10 ticket!
Are you going to lose money with every demonstration?
Now pass the cards around one by one until you reach the €10 note. Take the card immediately after the note and place it face down on the table.
Invite your spectator to open the envelope containing the prediction themselves…
A card is into the envelope: your prediction.
A card is on the table: the spectator’s card.
Turn back the 2 cards at the same time!
This is totally IMPOSSIBLE! The spectator card is the same as your prediction!
Immediately give the deck to examine, no duplicate cards, this is a regular deck of cards!
