This is one of those beautiful multi-phase close-up routines that becomes progressively more baffling with each repeat. It is a time-proven audience pleaser and, despite appearing to require great skill, it is almost effortless to perform. The magician shows four chips, two bearing a green lion on them and the other two red lions. Under the fairest of conditions, the red lions change places with the green lions, culminating in a phase where the chips are actually held by the spectators, yet the magic still happens, and they are then left in their own hands for examination if the wish to do so.
