You show a large 3-inch block and an 8 1/2-inch tube with three windows. You then place two blades through the slots in the sides of the tube between the windows. When the die is dropped into the tube, it rests on the first blade and can go no further. Make a magical gesture, and the die slowly and visibly sinks through the first blade and rests on top of the second. Again, a magical gesture, and it slowly penetrates the second blade, sliding down to the base!
