The magician plays a joke on a volunteer which backfires but the trick is saved by the magician in the end. The magician is so confident he predicts a card, shows it to the audience, and places it in the Japanese Card Frame in full view. Unknown to the volunteer, the magician brings out a deck of cards of which every card is the same as the predicted card. The volunteer selects a card but ultimately reveals an entirely different card than the prediction. “How could this be?” In a surprise finish, the predicted card changes to the selected card and the magician’s reputation is saved.
A hilariously funny trick to perform at a party or meeting where the guest of honor or CEO is selected as the volunteer. Everyone gets a big laugh as they see the deck of cards which are all alike but they play along and agree the deck is normal. The joke then shifts to the magician as the sure-tire trick has back-fired. The joke is then on the audience who thought they were watching a practical joke but have witnessed a seriously perplexing bit of magic. A great addition to any show where you want to involve the audience and make them laugh so hard that they’ll never see the surprise finish coming.
